Stevie Nicks and Olivia Rodrigo are both part of the musical world surrounding Practical Magic 2, adding two major names to the highly anticipated sequel. Newly revealed soundtrack details confirm that Rodrigo’s song The Cure appears in the film, while Fleetwood Mac’s Landslide is also featured in another scene.
The announcement comes after Rodrigo and Nicks recently shared the stage for a performance of Landslide at Rodrigo’s Daisy Chain Fields festival in Irvine, California. Sandra Bullock later added to the speculation by sharing footage from the performance and hinting at their connection to the upcoming movie.
Nicks already has history with the Practical Magic franchise. Her music was featured in the original 1998 film, including the song Crystal, giving her return a natural connection to the sequel.
Practical Magic 2 reunites Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman in the roles that helped make the original movie a lasting favorite. The sequel is scheduled to arrive in theaters in September 2026.
