NBA
Neither the Pistons nor the Bucks had a pick going into last night’s second round of the NBA draft, but each team wound up with a player. Detroit purchased the 53rd pick from the Knicks and grabbed University of Virginia center Ugonna Onyenso. The Bucks purchased the 60th pick from the Wizards, and took 21-year-old forward Malik Lewis from Trinidad and Tobago, who has played in Australia’s professional league for the past two seasons.
Detroit’s biggest deal came away from the draft, with reports that backup big man Isaiah Stewart is headed to the Grizzlies in exchange for three future second-round picks. The move opens up some salary cap space as the team tries to work out long-term deals with Jalen Duren and Ausar Thompson.

NFL
Detroit Lions cornerback Terrion Arnold faces multiple felony charges following his arrest yesterday in Tampa.
Six other individuals have already been arrested by Tampa police in connection with an incident that took place February 4th, in which three men were assaulted, held at gunpoint, and robbed.
Investigators allege that Arnold was the leader of the gang, which apparently set out to retrieve $250,000 worth of goods stolen from an Airbnb Arnold had rented. Police believe that none of the three victims was involved in that robbery.
Arnold’s attorneys say he is innocent, and looks forward to clearing his name in court.
