Watching out for one’s health takes a lot of attention and care. And it’s not always easy to know what to do about a new mole. Or might become another appointment on the long list of other to-dos in life. But it’s important to check in with a health specialist, and to hear from one.
Tomorrow night, UPHS Portage will host its annual Breast cancer Awareness Dinner. The event celebrates the strength cancer patients have to have to fight through frustration, aches, and pain, and an incredible amount of new information at a more than stressful time.
At tomorrow night’s awareness dinner, Dr. Charles Goodwin will deliver a presentation on breast cancer treatment options and advancements, the importance of mammograms, and great tips for people treating cancer or knowing someone who is.
The event is free; however, space is limited, find more registration information online.
