Boo on the Bay will welcome ghouls, witches, and many more characters on Friday. The annual event put on by the L’Anse downtown development authority has brought families to the village’s downtown since 2012. Kids and parents make memories, and the community enjoys passing out candy and a nice fall day.
I like fall. I like it because it’s cooler. I mean, don’t get me wrong, I don’t like what comes after, but just to get the family down here and you should see, we probably have between five and six hundred kids. You know, over at the fire how we do hand out cider and donuts for each kid, anybody. Plus, they can go around town and trick or treat to all the businesses and get a nice piece of candy. And some people I know come here instead of going trick or treating. – Tracey Barrett, board member, L’Anse downtown development authority.
