Huskies and wildcats might have a lot to celebrate. But so do the Samsons. On Firday Gogebic Community College will see students graduate as a part of the 91st commencement ceremony. This spring the community college awards more than 180 degrees and certificates. The graduating class also includes more than 40 students earning honors, having sustained a grade point average above 3.75 throughout their time at Gogebic Community College.
Alumna and nutrition specialist with the Gogebic Ontonagon Intermediate School District, Lori Scott has been invited to deliver the spring commencement address. After earning her associate degree from GCC, Scott attended the university of Wisconsin for an agricultural business degree.
The Gogebic Community College’s 91st commencement will begin at 5 pm on Friday. The college does plan to live stream the ceremony for those unable to attend in person. Find details here.
