A Chippewa County man was arraigned Tuesday on charges related to damaging a Michigan State Police patrol vehicle.
Karsten Myerscough appeared in 91st District Court on one count of damaging MDOP police property and obstructing a police officer causing injury. His bond was set at $50,000.
Myerscough was arrested Monday after he struck a patrol vehicle with a hammer while aboard the Sugar Island Ferry. He is expected to return to court later in September.
The Michigan State Police announced the charges Tuesday.
