The Michigan Department of Transportation will have another crew working in Houghton at the start of June.
From June 1-3, the state transportation department will conduct signal work on US-41 at the MacInnes Drive intersection near the Michigan Technological University campus.
The work at US-41 and MacInnes Drive will close a single lane while work occurs on June 2. Motorists can expect a shift in traffic for the signal work beginning at 9 a.m. on June 2.
MDOT anticipates work will take between four and five hours to complete backplate and bottom tether installation to stabilize the signal.
Drivers should use caution when traveling near the US-41 and MacInnes Drive intersection while work occurs.
