- Dollar Bay-Tamarack City defeated Lake Linden-Hubbell 69-36 in the annual Torch Lake Trophy game.
- Chassell fell to Bessemer 57-30. Brayden Larson led the Panthers with 13 points.
- Ewen-Trout Creek lost to Ironwood 64-24.
In girls action…
- Houghton got past Marquette 49-44. Ruby Zawada paced the Gremlins with 16 points, and Jacey Sleeman added 11. Avery Osborne scored 20 for the Sentinels.
- Caumet shut down Jeffers 47-18. Bailey Strom led the Copper Kings with 16 points.

At the U.P. Alpine skiing championships at Mont Ripley yesterday, two Houghton boys logged top-10 finishes in the slalom – Brady Rubin in 5th place, and Carson Chalgren 10th.
