Christmas music has returned to the radio. The first snow has fallen. And in Hancock businesses, families, and community organizations are preparing to bring the feeling of Christmas to the city. Just after families finish clearing the thanksgiving tables. Hancock invites the community to its annual Christmas walk. And a new event, Hancock lights the night.
You know, every time I come down, there’s a little bit more uh people are starting to set up. I know a lot of people are setting up offsite and going to bring it down here and have everything ready to go. It’s really exciting to see – Whitney Warstler,City Councilor, City of Hancock
Groups has already begun setting up their campsite for the fun seasonal display. City Councilor Whitney Warstler says groups that have not set up yet should wrap up by November 26th. Anyone interested in helping the city prepare the Hancock campground is encouraged to call the Hancock city office to sign up for volunteering this weekend and next.
