Grants awards support projects programs and communities.
Recently the Keweenaw community Foundation opened its fall grant cycle. This year KCF plans to award more than 115,000 dollars in grant funds, including 50000 dollars from the foundation’s Community Impact Fund. The foundation’s other awards include seven grant programs, such as the Houghton County historical preservation grant or the Joe Freed Empowerment fund.
Before the deadline to submit grant proposals ends Keweenaw community foundation will invite potential grantees to an open house on September 15th to learn more about this year’s fall grant cycle, and other grant programs the foundation is responsible for annually.
