Students will return to the classroom on the first Monday in September. And soon after picking up a pencil again. And some students will pick up a set of keys and hop behind the wheel for the first time. Keweenaw CAPE has opened registration for Segment 1 and 2 driver’s education. Organizers is finalizing dates for the upcoming program, and suggest students register as soon as possible to avoid joining the waitlist.
During segment one, driver’s education students complete 24 hours in the classroom and 12 hours in a vehicle. With six of those hours behind the wheel.
