In a new interview with The Guardian, LISA from BLACKPINK revealed that a Hannah Montana song, “Ice Cream Freeze (Let’s Chill),” was the track that forever changed her life. LISA chose to perform the song by Miley Cyrus’ Disney alter-ego during her audition for BLACKPINK in Thailand, and ultimately got selected for the K-pop girl group. “There must have been 1,000 people, so I never thought I would get picked,” LISA recalls. “It’s a fun song and good to dance to, so I think it really suited my style.” She also mentioned knowing every word to Justin Bieber‘s “Baby,” but played it cool when she first encountered him. “I met him a few years ago, but just for a quick hi,” LISA says. “I didn’t tell him how much I loved him, because I’m too shy.” LISA’s debut solo album, Alter Ego, debuted at No. 7 on the Billboard 200 in February, while the singer is currently starring in the new season of the HBO hit series, White Lotus.
